On July 9,2021 the heavens opened and welcomed Theodore Charles Shaw SR. (Ted). A very unique man of his time

Ted attended Madison school and later served our country in the Navy. On July 16,1963 he married Royene (Marie) Jerky. He worked at the Anaconda Company and numerous mines in Butte. He enjoyed weekend road trips, family gatherings in cars and trucks of all types. Especially his daily coffee and breakfast at Annies, then coffee and dinner at Copper City; where he enjoyed many close friends in good conversation.

Fondly known by his family as Pops, he was definitely one of a kind as most would say who knew him. He had a tough shell to most but to his family he had his ways of doing things that showed his love for them. Throughout his life he was famous for his "out of the blue road trips". He was always one to find a little mom and pop Café along the way; or end up turning around for a gift that one of his kids or grandchildren wanted, which -usually ended up in a turnaround a few miles out of town to go back and buy it.

He has found his peace again in heaven back in the arms of his beloved wife Marie. Which is the best ending to his wonderful life story.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Claude and Edith Shaw, brothers, Butch and Johnny Shaw, his sisters Edith "Sis" Campbell, Rose Verral, Sheila Morris and Claudia Durham.

He is survived by his daughter Tina Lowney (Dan), son Theodore Shaw Jr. (Patty), Foster daughter Esther Fontaine ; brother Neal Shaw (Linda). Sisters Jean Forrest, Louella Briggs (Greg).

Grandchildren Casey Shaw(Denny), Theodore Shaw III (Angel), Satie Harrington (Damon), Michael Blackburn, Blake Shaw, Beau Lowney (Elizabeth), Nikki Lowney (Cody). His great grandchildren, Payton King, Mike, Tyson and Letty Wilkinson, Dylan, Haylee, and Logan Harrington. Gabriella, Alayna and Liam Shaw, Zuko Lowney, Nora Biers, and Saya Lowney. Reagan, Aiden, Cori, Jace and Clarissa Blackburn. And numerous nieces, nephews and cherished friends.

Funeral at Dugan Dolan Mortuary Friday July 16, at noon. Procession to Mountain View Cemetery then reception to follow at 2 pm at Charlie Judds Community Center.
