Terry Edward Rundle passed away on Saturday, February  3, 2024. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends at the time of his death.

Terry was born in Butte, Montana on February 16, 1951, to Leonard Charles Rundle and Helen (Boognl) Rundle. Terry was the second born out of 6 children.

Terry attended grade school in Butte and California. He returned to Butte and graduated from Butte High School in 1969.

On November, 21 1970, he married his first love, Mary Kay and had 2 sons in their 21 year marriage and they remained close friends throughout his life. He was later married to Lori Verrall for a short time. He dated Marion Dean for a long time and they were together until the time of her death.

After graduation he went to work in Butte as an Iron worker at various mines, then he worked at the Montana State Prison for a short time. He continued his career in corrections at the Butte Pre Release were his was employed for over 30 years.

He was an avid outdoorsman, he loved to camp, hunt and fish. He loved being at the lake fishing with his friends and family and anyone that knew him could share a fishing story or two. An of his biggest joys was teaching grandkids, nieces and nephews how to fish.

Terry loved  playing baseball, and later on softball and anyone who shared the diamond with him will tell you that he was one of the best 3rd basemen that every played at Stodden park. His love for baseball also parlayed into a long coaching career and he loved coaching his sons at the game. During his time on the sidelines he touched so many lives as a coach and mentor.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Helen; aunt, Doris Matthews; uncles, Albert Boognl and Bill Rundle; cousins, Rick Krum and Mike Ross; son, William Robert Rundle; nephew, Cody James Bennett; and longtime girlfriend and love, Marion Dean.  He is survived by his 2 sons and daughter-in-law, Gary and Amy Rundle, Lenard Lefty Rundle; his grandkids; Charlie Rundle, Amber Rundle (Jake French), Shayla Rundle, Dennis Chelini, and Shelby (Taylor) Thiel; great grandkids; Leyton, Orry, Harper and, Averi Theil; his brother, Lenny (Laura) Rundle; sisters, Debra, Jean (Butch) McCarty, Connie Bennett, Sue Ludlow, and Diane Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by special friends; Joe (Kelly) Jangula, Mary Kay Mellott, Lonnie Schmidt, Paula and Mark Merrick and their sons, Kelly and Josh, Mike Thatcher, Pat Mengon, Bobby Johns, Kenny Davis, and Jim Benney, and Bernie and Rochelle Dean.

A ceremony will take place on Feb. 16, 2024 with  visitations  from 12:00 noon to 1:00pm at the Duggan Dolan Chapel (1805 Meadowlardk Ln. Butte, Mt), a Celebration of life will be at 1:00PM and a reception will follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall after the ceremony.
