In Loving Memory of Terri Jean Koland

It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Terri Jean Koland, who left us on August 5, 2025, at the age of 55. Terri was born on December 24, 1969, to David and Jenny Koland. She was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky, but spent most of her life in Butte, Montana.

Terri was a kind-hearted person who loved her friends and family fiercely. She was an animal lover and had many pets in her life. OJ, her cat, was with her until she passed away. She loved her work as a CNA at various nursing homes, including the Southwest Veterans Nursing Home, where she last worked. She was very fond of all the residents, and she missed them terribly when she wasn't working anymore.  She loved to fish and camp, especially with her life partner of 20 years, Charlie Matule.

Terri is survived by her sister, Shannon (Deacon Andy) Hardigan; niece, Erin Hardigan; nephew, Matthew Hardigan; Charlie Matule; aunts, Susie Blodget, Diane O'Leary; many cousins, stepfather, Rich Cory; and several stepsiblings. She is lovingly remembered by those whose lives she touched and will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

A private service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery. Duggan Dolan Mortuary is assisting the family.
