Teresa Margaret Harrington (Teri) passed away on May 12, 2025, at the age of 64. Teri was born on February 24, 1961, to Ed and Patsy Harrington here in Butte, Montana.

Teri was the definition of a true 'Butte gal.' She made many cherished memories in Butte, although she also held a love for her time in Glendive, Montana. If you knew Teri, you knew she was short in height—but boy, was she fierce. Her two brothers always joked about her height, but they knew they were in for it when they did. Along with her brothers, she was a jokester herself. If you knew her, there is a chance she would have you laughing till your stomach hurt, and even if you did not know her, you might have found her hilarious Facebook updates from time to time. She had a great sense of humor till the very end.

Teri graduated from Butte Central Catholic High School in 1979 and moved on to work at NorthWestern Energy as a billing specialist/analyst for nearly 20 years.

Teri enjoyed knitting and taking long drives with the music blasting, windows down, and the wind in her hair—reminiscing about good memories and chatting it up with one of her longtime best friends, Beth Sweeney, as well as close friends Pam Tierney, Pati Chelini, and many others. She lived life to the fullest and always made sure to love and support her daughter, Sarah. Just as deeply, Teri had an incredible love for her grandchildren, Joseph and Reagan Mulcahy. They were her world, and she was unbelievably proud of them.

She is survived by her daughter, Sarah (Joe) Mulcahy, and their children, Joseph and Reagan Mulcahy, who were the light of her life. Her two brothers, Butch (Dory) Harrington and their children, Bryan Harrington and Heather Sholey; and Sean (Debi) Harrington and their sons, Devin, Damon, and Nolan Harrington. She is also lovingly remembered by her two aunts, Joan Thompson and Katie (Bill) Halvorson, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Teri was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Patsy Harrington and her two aunts Jean McGrath and Rosie Anderson.

In accordance with Teri's wishes, no formal service will be held. A private family gathering will be held in September to celebrate her life. Those who wish to honor her memory are invited to make a donation to the Butte Food Bank or simply perform a kind act in her spirit.
