We will sadly miss our loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Sheila Andre Pewitt passed away on Tuesday in St. James Healthcare.  Sheila was born on April 12, 1936, to Robert and Ethel Andre. She was born and grew up in Helena, MT. She graduated from Helena High in 1954.

She met the love of her life, Chuck Pewitt when they were in the seventh grade. They then started dating in high school. They married on October 26, 1957, after he served in the army and returned home. They just celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.

They have 2 children, Rodney Pewitt and Tracy (Dan) Gageby.

She was always so proud of her family. She was blessed with 3 grandkids and 6 great grandkids. Curt (Danna) Kindt and their children, Liam, Kelten, and Ailey, Cassie (Cory) Biggers and their daughter, Timber, Carlyne (Cory) Johnson and their children, Cale and Cynzee.

She worked as a seamstress while home raising her family. She then later worked

for and retired from Mountain West Credit Union.  They enjoyed traveling and exploring many countries. They share many memories of their trips together as well and the trips they took with classmates and friends.

They also loved hiking and camping in Montana.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Andre.

She will be sadly missed by family, friends and classmates.

Services will be held at a later date.  Memorials are suggested to the Butte Emergency Food Bank.
