Sharon Malkovich passed away on September 19, 2024 at her home. Sharon was born to Thomas and Katherine O'Connor on October 24, 1946.

Sharon was the oldest of 7 kids, she attended St. John's Grade School and graduated from Girls Central High School in 1964 (60 Yrs.). She then attended Montana State University for 2 yrs.

Sharon and Dan Malkovich married on February 25, 1967 at St. Anthony's Church in National City, CA while Dan was in the U. S. Navy. They lived in San Diego, San Pedro and San Francisco California.

They welcomed their three children into the world: Danny, Kristy and Mark.

Sharon worked in the banking business, Metals, 1st Metals, 1st Bank and U S Bank in bookkeeping and as a teller inside and in the drive-thru on and off at the beginning taking care of the kids, then full time starting in 1966 and retiring in 2009.

Sharon loved the water, she was on several swim teams and loved life guarding. She was very much a Irish Girl as the only color she knew was Green. She loved her Irish Heritage. She loved to follow the kids in sports and did everything to make sure they got a good education.

She truly loved going to the Butte Archives, going to dinner with her Girls Central Class Bunch and going to dinner with her U S Bank Bunch. But her biggest passion was growing her own flowers, family genealogy, and making sure Dan got his jobs done.

Sharon is survived by her husband Dan of 57 years, son Dan (Amber), son Mark (Michelle), Grandson Kaden Daniel Malkovich and her best child with 4 paws Copper.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, brother Tom, brother Bobby and sister Diane and her other 4 paws child Chappy.

Sharon's family would like to express their gratitude to the Cancer Center at St. James Healthcare and Honeybee Hospice and Dr. Tara Howard at SW Community Health.

Cremation has been completed by Duggan Dolan Mortuary and by her request there will be no further services.

Memorials may be made to the Butte Archives, Lady of the Rockies, Columbia Gardens Carousel or a charity of the donor's choice.
