Sharon Mae "Burkie" Osborne, 82

March 08, 1939 – August 30, 2021

Monday, August 30, 2021, at 630 PM, our mom, gramma, great gramma, great-great gramma, and friend peacefully entered Heaven's doors, serenaded by her very missed husband, Bill, and into the loving arms of her beautiful mamma once again! What a reunion!!! Sharon Mae Osborne was born March 8, 1939 to Emmett and Esther Burke. She was quickly the light of their lives, along with her aunt, Edna Greenan, and grandma, Sara Greenan.

Along with her family, mom loved, and was loved by, her classmates of the class of Central 1957!   These friendships have continued until her death. She cherished the lunches, text messages, and phone calls throughout the years.

On July 1, 1960 mom married the love of her life, our dad, Bill Osborne. With this marriage her 3 children Tami, Bill, and Michele became her greatest joys. As she aged, her pride became her badge of honor. One of mom's favorite times in her life was when she traveled with our dad coast to coast through his IBEW career!

Mom worked several jobs throughout her life, TCI Cable, JC Penney's, and Heavenly Occasions. Many lifetime friendships had grown from these as well.

Mom was very independent and loved her little place she filled with all these beautiful memories after our dad passed in 2015. She just loved to visit her favorite little spots to shop or a little gambling also. We all looked forward to her Facebook posts and she reveled in the friendships she rekindled through Facebook. Most recently, her god daughter Marcia Wood and mom were reunited through Facebook and that meant the world to her! Her last days were hard, but she was surrounded by her family and she felt all of our love.

Mom was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Esther Burke; aunt, Edna Greenan; grandmother, Sarah Greenan; husband, William Osborne Jr,; and her beloved Cocker Spaniel, Dublin. She is survived by her children, Tami (Wayne) O'Connell, Bill (Kathy) Osborne, and Michele (Randy) Verrall; 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

We would like to thank the staff at St. James Healthcare for the wonderful care mom received during her brief stay.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Ann's Catholic Church on Saturday, September 18, 2021. Visitation begins at 10:00 am. Mass will begin at 11:00 am. A reception will be held immediately after Mass. Private family Rite of Committal will take place in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Memorials in honor of mom can be made to Butte Central, or St. Jude Foundation, We are asking everyone to be safe during these tough Covid times. God bless you mom, we love you, until we meet again.
