Roxanne Lavina (Martin) Marsenich passed away peacefully on July 15, 2016 in Wellington, CO. with her loving family surrounding her. She was led to heaven by the hand's of her granddaughter Jersey Nicole who also shares this anniversary date.
Roxanne was born on March 29, 1954 in Butte, Montana. Her loving parent's are Ross Henry Martin and Charmaine June Martin. She was the second oldest of their 8 children.
Roxie was born and raised a Butte girl. She attended Butte schools and participated in many sports. Dancing, swimming, baton twirling, skating, hunting and fishing just to name a few activities that she did with great passion. You would never find her without her hair and make-up done to perfection, even while gutting out her deer.
She was beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. She brightened up a room anywhere she went.
Roxie worked a vast variety of jobs throughout her adult life, but her main area of expertise was in banking. She loved as much as she worked and played; wholeheartedly. Her sense of humor, well let's just say she usually exceeded in what she wanted to achieve there too, unfortunately for us recipients. She also had a stubborn streak and we
are all thankful for this because that kept her fighting to stay with us for as long as she did.
Roxie married her soul mate and the love of her life Edward Marsenich on December 9, 1975. They added to their beautiful life together 3 daughters, Kari Lyn, Stacey and Angie. They loved a life of adventure with their daughter's which included
vacation's, camping trips and a lot of amazing memories as a loving family. They raised the girl's in Helena and have been residing in Wellington, Co. in the most recent years of her life.
She is preceded in death by her father Ross Martin; brother Todd Martin; niece Renee and granddaughter Jersey Nicole. As well as her father-n-law and mother-in-law Milan and Frances Marsenich and brother-in-law Mark Marsenich.
Roxie is survived by her husband Edward Marsenich; three daughters Kari Lyn Marsenich (Davey Anderson), Stacey Schutz (Jason) and Angella Tavary. Grandchildren; Alex (Seth) Long, Mark, Zachary, Gabriel, Payton, Haleigh, Cooper, Jayci and Tyler. Her mother Charmaine Martin. Brothers; Mike (Debbie) Martin, Dan (Janet) Martin. Sisters; Lori (Don) Powers, Shelley (Mike) Dixon, Candi (Rich) Condon, Bobbie Jo (Bill) Mulcahy and sister-in-law Jody (Brad) Hollaman. Brother-in-law Bob (Karen) Marsenich and sister-in-law Milana Marsenich. Numerous Nieces, Nephews, friends and other family that she also loved and adored.
Relatives and friends may call after 5:00PM this Wednesday in the Duggan Dolan Chapel for visitations. Prayer services will be conducted at 7:00PM. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10:00AM in the Duggan Dolan Chapel. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
