Rodney Alfred Chouinard passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, in Bozeman Montana surrounded by his loving family. Rod was born in Willow Brook California on May 21,1929.

Rod graduated from Boys Central High School and attended the University of Montana. He married Joyce Ruffatto on November 05, 1950. Rod and Joyce just recently celebrated their 69 ^th wedding anniversary. Rod was employed with the railroad until his retirement.

Rod was preceded in death by his parents Margaret and Alfred Chouinard and his sister Virginia.   He leaves behind his wife, Joyce, his children, Sherry and Dave Flamand, Fred and Brenda Chouinard, Rochelle and Bob Miller, and Gerald and Cindy Chouinard. Rod also leaves behind his wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren and his precious puppy, Mattie.

Rod Chouinard has been an amazing person and will be greatly missed. Farewell Rod! We will never forget you.

Friends may call on Monday after 10:00 am in St. Ann's Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mausoleum of Mountain View Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Chelsea Bailey Animal Shelter, Butte Emergency Food Bank, Butte Catholic Education Fund, or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
