Rita E. (Sconfienza) Worring passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021 at her residence.  Rita was born on September 23, 1938 at St. James Hospital in Butte, Montana.  Her parents were John and Ann (Guidi) Sconfienza.

Rita attended Holy Savior Elementary School and Butte High School, from where she graduated in 1956.  She attended the University of Montana in 1959.  Rita worked at the Texaco Company Credit Division, Mountain Bell of Montana, and the Montana Power Company after High School graduation.

In 1960, Rita married Tom Worring and had four children, Lisa Ann, Gina Marie, John William, and Anna Maria.  She was always a devoted wife, mother, and follower of Jesus Christ.  She managed the household, directing her children in a loving and effective way while managing the family finances.

Rita was a lifelong Roman Catholic and actively participated in various organizations and prayer groups relating to her Catholic faith throughout the years.  Rita was a Eucharistic Minister for many years at Masses and in volunteer services, bringing Communion and healing prayer to many hospitalized people.  Many also benefited from her efforts in prayer chains, helping to bring comfort during hard times.  She also participated in the Healing Prayer Ministry at Charismatic Conferences.  She has been a friend to many Religious and religious organizations with assistance and participation in prayers. She went on a religious pilgrimage with her family members to France and Italy in 2019. Joyfully, she journeyed to Italy and France with her family on a religious pilgrimage in 2019.

Rita was also interested in responsible political participation from about 13 years of age.  She was a strong Pro-life advocate and loved babies.  She strived to support candidates and politics that definitely represented desires to only participate honestly at a high level of ethics and be on the highest moral ground.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tom; and brother, John Sconfienza.  She is survived by her children; Lisa Ann (Chris) Lewis, Gina Marie (Jeff) McCauley, John William (Tracy) Worring, and Anna Maria (Bob) Bentley; her grandchildren, Daniel (Carmen) Lewis, Anthony Lewis, Kristen Lewis, Matthew McCauley, Maria (Michael) Quigley, Ryan McCauley, Lauren McCauley, Sophia McCauley, Emily Worring, Zachary Worring, Adria (Connor) McCarthy, Airika (Gabriel) McClafferty, and Jacob (Stephanie) Bentley; and her great grandchild, Odhran Lewis.  She is also survived by her sister, Joanne (Leo) Jense; her brother, Neil Sconfienza; sister-in-law, Jean Sconfienza; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Thursday after 5:00 PM in St. Patrick's Catholic Church.  Parish Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 am in the Church.  Rite of Committal will follow in the Mausoleum and Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
