Patricia Ann (Hogan) Neary, lovingly known as "Grandma Pat," passed away at her home on June 7, 2026, at the age of 86.

Pat was born on May 25, 1940, in Butte, Montana, to John "Bud" Hogan and Mary "Mae" Hogan. She attended Girls Central Catholic High School, graduating in 1958. After high school, she worked at Hennessy's Department Store. Later, she worked as a housekeeper, but devoted herself to her family as a homemaker. Her most cherished and important role was being a mother and grandmother. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending me with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Pat met the love of her life, Jack Neary, shortly after high school. On June 25, 1960, Pat and Jack married at the Immaculate Conception Church in Butte, a town where they were both born and raised. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, friendship, and family.

Pat had a gift for making memories. She enjoyed sewing and embroidering, baking for family gatherings, taking pictures and recording family videos, and spending me with friends at club dinners. She also enjoyed frequent visits to Crazy Carol's Casino. Her grandchildren will forever remember her riddles, songs, handmade sweatshirts and pajama pants, and the love she shared so freely.

Some of her fondest memories were made at Wade Lake and Canyon Ferry Lake, where she spent many summers camping with family and friends. She loved gathering around the campfire, sharing stories of her younger days, and making memories that will be cherished for years to come. She also enjoyed fishing alongside her husband, her biggest catch. She had a knack for winning every cribbage and Rummy game she played with her family, keeping all of her losses a secret.

Pat is survived by her sister, Margaret Hogan; sisters-in-law Tuzy Hogan and Nancy (Bob) Birkelo; her children, John (Jodi) Neary, Colleen (Aaron) Ralph, Mark (Renee) Neary, and Patti (Tony) Nazer; and her beloved grandchildren, Aaron (Michelee) Ralph, Jessi (Mike Blastek) Ralph, Cassie (Levi) Jones, Sadie Dallaserra, Dylan Dallaserra, Kelliann (Bryson) Henningsen, Jared (Morgan) Nazer, Brady (Bailey) Nazer, Colton (Nichole) Neary, and Rhys Neary. She is also survived by her treasured great-grandchildren, Carson and Cooper Ralph; Bentlee Nazer; Marlie, Sailor, and Henry Neary; and Avery Blastek, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Jack Neary; her sons, James and Joseph Neary; her parents, Bud and Mae Hogan; her brothers, Jackie, Connie, and Mickey Hogan; her parents-in-law, John and Jeanette Neary; brother-in-law Bob (Joyce) Neary; and many other
loved ones who welcomed her home.

Just months after losing her beloved husband, she has joined him once more. While our hearts grieve their absence, we find comfort in imagining them together again, playing a game of cribbage over a cup of coffee, exactly where they belong. We are deeply grateful for the many years we were able to spend with them, a gift we will hold close to our hearts. The legacy of their love, laughter, and devotion to family is a gift we will carry with us always.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, at Immaculate Conception Church in Butte. A reception will follow at the Knights of Columbus.
