With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Pana Jo D'Arcy who died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 21st in Butte Montana.

Pana Jo was born on Jan. 10, 1991 to Jody and Pana (Mitchell) D'Arcy. Her timing was perfect as she breathed new life into a family still reeling from the tragic death of her uncle Jerry.

She brought much joy and happiness to parents and grandparents, as well as her large extended family. Pana Jo was the first grandchild, and she was the apple of her grandmothers' eyes

Pana Jo was as funny and smart as she was adorable. She was gentle with a little bit of feist, a trait her daughter carries on as her legacy. She idolized her father, making her a bit of a tomboy and a huge daddy's girl. She loved hunting, fishing and camping as a young girl and collected every pretty rock along the way. An obsession passed down to her son.

Pana Jo lovingly welcomed her younger siblings with big arms and even bigger smiles. Justin; Jessica and Jarren were held, entertained and idolized by Pana Jo for hours in their infant and younger years.

Pana Jo was the mother of Brylee Jo and Lonnie Jo. Her children share her creativity, strong will and beauty. Please continue to watch over your children as they are navigating life without you on earth while continuing to pursue their life's dreams and passions.

She is survived by her devoted father and step-mother Jody & Jennifer D'Arcy, daughter Brylee (Jason Baker), son Lonnie , her children's father Lonnie Stevens, grandfather Jerry D'Arcy (June Dudding), brothers Justin D'Arcy and Jarren Schafer (Madi), sister Jessica D'Arcy (Brandan Arthur), nephew Benson, step-father Tom Schafer, step-brother Jamison Schafer, uncle Jeff D'Arcy (Heidi), uncle Scott Mitchell, and numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and friends who already miss her so much.

Pana Jo is preceded in death by her mother Pana Sue Schafer, grandparents Jean and John Dinsmore, grandfather L.G. "Pepper" Mitchell, grandmother Laura D'Arcy, uncle Jerry D'Arcy, great-grandparents Gerald and Mary D'Arcy & Lean and Gladys McLean.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, May 09, 2026 at 10:00 am.  Entombment of Ashes will follow with her Uncle Jerry in the Columbarium at Mountain View Cemetery.
