Nita passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025.  She was born August 7, 1936, in Butte, Montana to Emmett and Mary (Phillips) Cronnelly.  Nita celebrated her 89th birthday surrounded by family.

Nita attended St. Lawrence grade school and graduated from Girls Central High School with the class of 1954.  She worked at the Elks in bookkeeping, then joined the Highway Department in the payroll department.  Nita loved her job and the people she worked with at the Highway.  She enjoyed organizing the monthly birthday celebrations, Christmas parties, and the annual picnic.
Nita was very proud of her Irish heritage and her Centerville roots.  She married Virgil Atkins and together they raised four children; Keith, Lisa, Cindy, and Brian. Later Nita met and married Bob Wriston, adding his children Keith and Julie to their family.
Nita is preceded in death by her parents Emmett and Mary (Phillips) Cronnelly, brother and sister-in-law Emmett "Jug" and Mary Claire Cronnelly, and her dear son Brian "Fatty" Atkins.

Nita is survived by her husband Bob Wriston, her children, son Keith Atkins and children Andrew (Lindsey), Randy, and Maygan, daughter Lisa Atkins and children Michael, Stewart, and Dustin, daughter Cindy Dahlman and children McKenna and Sheratyn, son Brian's children Cole(Hailey) Atkins, and Cody(Abe) Dvoroznak, son Keith Wriston and children Vincent and Connor, daughter and son in law Julie and John Stapleton and children Jordan and Jada, sister and brother in law Donna and Jerry Carlson, brother in law Jim Wriston and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call on Thursday, September 4th, after 5:00 PM in the Duggan Dolan Mortuary Chapel.  Parish Vigil will be recited at 6:00 PM.  Friends may call on Friday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in St. Patrick's Catholic Church.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am with Rite of Committal to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to The Lady of the Rockies, Butte Central Education Foundation or a charity of the donors' choice.
