Nancy Maloughney

Dec. 26, 1940 - May 15, 2022

Nancy grew up in Butte, raised by her parents Joseph and Marge Lester, with her

eight siblings: Bill, Kay, Bob, Lavern, Jim, Tom, Chucky, and Susie.

She graduated from Girls Central High School and attended Carroll College   before beginning her 60 year life journey with Pat. In her teens and twenties, Nancy worked for her sister Lavern at the Big Butte Market and Lake Market grocery stores.     She retired as a ward secretary from St. James Community Hospital in 2006, after 20 years at the hospital.

Pat and Nancy were blessed with their three children: Shawn, Tammy, and Sandy, as well as her grandchildren: Tim, and Connor, along with great-grandchildren: Ray

and Joey.   Nancy always had a smile on her face, loved to assist people in finding lost objects with the help of St. Anthony, especially enjoyed talking about her family,

and was always looking for a bargain. She is now at peace with God and her beloved daughter Tammv.

Relatives and friends may call from 10:00am to 11:00am Thursday in St. John the Evangelist Church for visitations. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am in the Church. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
