On November 11th, 1942, a faith-filled and gentle woman was born into this world. With a patient, loving, and caring heart, she warmly touched the life of every person she met. Sadly, on October 15th, 2                                                                                                                                  Jule was born in Butte, MT to the late Frances and Gladys (Donovan) Murphy. She attended Immaculate Conception Elementary School, and later graduated from Girl's Central High School in Butte, MT. Following high school graduation, she worked in many facets of the medical field. With a strong work ethic and natural desire to learn, Jule began her career as a nurse aide. While working night shift full time, she attended Butte Vo-Tech during the day, and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. As an LPN, she worked at St. James hospital, MCDC, as well as home health and hospice. Grandma Jule "retired" at the age of 65, but she cared so deeply for her patients that she continued to provide home health and hospice care until the age of 73.                                                                                                                                                                                         Jule was very proud of her Irish heritage and Catholic faith which led to her passion and dedication to the LAOH. Jule was a charter member of the Ladies' Ancient Order of Hibernians, Bridget Murphy Shea, Butte #1 Division. It was an impressive undertaking to have held every office within their local and state divisions. The Hibernians were a special part of her life and they became family to her. As the Hibernians stated, "She was our matriarch and our rock." She was proud to march in the St. Patrick's Day Parade each year to honor the LAOH.  A memory of hers that she loved to share was her recent participation in the state convention in Anaconda. Her legacy will live on within the LAOH.                                        Grandma Jule created an adventure out of everything in life. Her light-hearted spirit brightened up every room and she could get a laugh out of everyone with her one-of-a-kind sense of humor. Simple things made her the happiest. Grandma loved her time at Georgetown Lake where she often attended Sunday mass, followed by a good game of crib on the cabin deck. She had a bucket list to soak in every hot spring across the state of Montana. Though a mighty task, she put a good dent in it!                                                                                                                             After retirement, Grandma Jule became fond of travel. She enjoyed her frequent visits to California to spend time with her beloved brother, Don and his family. Some of her recent trips included going to Las Vegas to see her favorite shows, a memorable Alaskan cruise, and a family trip to Cancun. She was also fortunate to visit New Orleans, where she had the best time with some of her fellow Hibernians. Her other hobbies included gardening, sewing, embroidering, and crocheting. There wasn't a baby born that didn't receive a newly crocheted blanket from Grandma Jule. Her special embroidered pillow cases will be cherished forever.                                                                                                                       Grandma Jule's family was the light of her life. She was blessed with three daughters: Terri, Linda, and Barbie. She later welcomed five granddaughters, and eventually three great grandchildren who changed her world. They brought her so much joy, as she loved watching them grow. Jule created a village of strong and independent women, from her daughters to her granddaughters. She raised them to know the value of family, and to trust and believe in their faith. Jule was not afraid to speak her mind. She would tell you what you needed to hear, and do so sternly, lovingly, and without judgment.                                                                                                                                                                                            Grandma never missed an event, big or small, whether it was a game, dance recital, wedding, a simple Sunday dinner, or a weekend camping trip. Each grandchild had a unique bond with Grandma Jule. She shared special hobbies, inside jokes, and traditions with each of them. Everyone received a daily "good morning" text from Grandma Jule. She kept close tabs on all of her people. She knew everyone's schedule on any given day, and would keep the others in the loop. Despite juggling all of these schedules, Grandma Jule had a way of making everyone feel like they were the only one on her mind. She truly loved her family more than life itself.                                                                                                     Jule will be greatly missed by her loving daughters Terri (Marty Daily) and Barbie (Gary Dudden); granddaughters Kendra (Shawn Peltier), Kacey Daily, Alyssa (Zack Bolton), Shayna (Jonathan Allen) and Mackensie Daily; great grandchildren Braelynn and Kason Peltier, and Remi Bolton.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Jule is preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Don and Betty Murphy; daughter Linda Walsh; son-in-law Marty Daily; and favorite aunts Agnes and Mary Murphy.                                                                                                                                                                                            Those whose lives were touched by Grandma Jule were honored and blessed. She was the best mom, mother-in-law, grandma, great grandma, sister, and friend we could have ever had. We will miss her beyond words and remember her fondly. Grammer Juler, we love you more.       Relatives and friends may call Friday 10:00am to 11:00am at St. Ann's Church for visitations.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am.  Burial of ashes will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
