Machelle Johnson-Ryan passed away July 21, 2020.  Machelle was born November 22, 1961 the last of six children born to Lynn and Ilean (Meier) Johnson.

She graduated from Butte High School and worked as a Cosmetologist following her graduation from Butte Academy of Beauty Culture.

Tim Ryan and Machelle were married November 5, 1988 and had two daughters, Tarayn and Amanda.

Machelle and Tim purchased the Beauty Boutique Beauty Salon in 1992 and operated it together until 2007. Machelle continued to work as a Cosmetologist. Machelle served as President of the MT State Cosmetology Association and held all offices locally.

Machelle's greatest joy was her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Tim Ryan, daughters: Tarayn (Greg) Foster and Amanda Ryan (Barry Butori), grandchildren:  Timothy, Pennie,  Finn and Evan Foster, Evangeline and Riley Butori:  sister Rita Butler, brother Rick (Dawn) Johnson, numerous nieces and nephews. Machelle was proceeded in death by her parents, Lynn and Ilean and brothers, Dale, Lonnie, and Arlen Johnson.

Machelle was an organ donor. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that monetary donations be made to The Life Center NW, (the non-profit organ procurement organization for our region), 3650, 131 Ave. SE, Ste 200, Bellevue, Wash. 98006.
