Louise Parks, 78

March 25, 1944 – June 17, 2022

Louise Parks passed away Friday, June 17, 2022, at her home in Butte. She was born March 25, 1944, to Siscell and Regina Parks in Butte.

After her father died, she moved with her mother to Browning, MT, where she graduated high school in 1963. After a brief stint in the US Navy, Louise moved to Havre, MT, where she lived until moving back to Butte in 1979. She worked at American Federal Savings for several years until she decided to go to college and become a nurse. After graduating, she worked as a nurse for The State of Montana at the Montana Developmental Center in Boulder until she retired. She was very active in the church and after retirement she volunteered for the Senior Companion program in Butte for several years. Anyone that knew Louise would agree that she was very independent and had a passion for helping others and her devout faith as a Christian.

She is survived by her son Bruce Parks (Sue) of Helena, and grandson Andrew Peterson (Stephanie) of Juneau, Alaska.

A celebration of Louise's life will be conducted on Saturday, July 16th at 1:00 p.m. at The Church in the Valley, 1958 Sampson St, in Butte with Clark Walters officiating. Louise has been interred at Mountain View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to The Church in the Valley.
