Linda Rogers passed away at home on January 31, 2020 after a long battle with Metastatic Breast Cancer. Linda was surrounded by her daughter, Molly, and the rest of her loving family. Linda was born on November 1, 1951 in Butte, Montana to Bill and Aileen (Carlson) Rogers.

Right out of High School, Linda joined the Marines. She then moved to Minnesota with her first husband and had two children. She was forever a Butte girl and returned to Butte in 1987. Linda later met the love of her life, Stephen King. Linda adored Steve and he adored her. They lived and loved well.

Linda received her bachelor's degree from Montana Tech and later completed her Master's from Capella University. In 1988 Linda was employed by the Montana State Prison. In 1992, she became an Addictions Counselor at CCCS. She was later promoted to a Treatment Supervisor and retired in 2017. During her career, Linda influenced and mentored many along the way.

Linda loved to spend time with her family, especially her Grandkids and her Nieces and Nephews. This last summer she spent a lot of time with her great nieces and nephews; running them to swim lessons, enjoying McDonald's for lunch every day, and always made sure they had their favorite deserts. Her granddaughter, Delaney, was also able to come to Butte and stay with Grammy for a week. The two of them had a wonderful time together.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Aileen (Carlson) Rogers, her husband Stephen King, and her nephew Jake Pratt.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Molly MacIntosh and granddaughter Delaney, of Owatonna Minnesota; step son Jeffrey and his wife, Tasha, and their children Sarah and Payton; sister Lois Mrkich, brother William and Paige Rogers, sister Marie Pratt, sister Julie and Jeff Nelsen, sister Peggie and Tom Hart, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Linda's family would like to thank Dr. Hueftle and his team at the Community Hospital of Anaconda for taking such amazing care of Linda for so many years. We'd also like to thank Highlands Hospice for their support and care over the last several weeks. They were amazing.

Friends are asked to join the family on Monday, February 10 ^th after 10 am in St. Ann's Catholic Church, where Linda was a member, located at 2100 Farragut Ave. in Butte. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am. A further celebration of Linda's Life will follow the Mass.

If donations/monies are received, they will be contributed towards an Educational Foundation that is being set up in Linda Rogers's name. CCCS recipients completing their studies in Chemical Dependency Counseling will be awarded a scholarship yearly. Please consider this option in lieu of flowers.
