Larry Taniel Moilanen passed away Sunday November 12th, in Billings, MT.

Larry was born in Butte, MT, where he lived his whole life, to John and Alfeda Moilanen.

He attended Hawthorn school, East Middle school and graduated from Butte High School. He also received his North American School of Firearms Certification as a gun smith. His work was beautiful, especially the gun stock's he carved.

As a gun smith, carpenter and maintenance worker, his artwork was beautiful.

Loving hunting, fishing, and being a great outdoorsman he had many trophies in his home. Any excuse for being outdoors, even getting firewood, he was there.

Larry is survived by his brother John Moilanen, niece Stephanie (Kelly) and their children and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother Dan Moilanen in 2023, sister; Carol Jones and every other member of his family.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.

I will miss you brother, we sure had fun through the years. Glad we had this time together. Love you, we all did.
