Kimberlee "Kim" (Sheehan) Fry died peacefully at her home in Butte on Sunday, July 27, 2025.

Kim was born May 20, 1960, in Butte, MT, the daughter of Thomas P. Sheehan and Edna Glendenning. She was raised on the upper west side, where she attended Kennedy Grade School, North Central Junior High, and graduated from Butte Central in 1978.

Kim worked in food and beverage service for many years in Butte and West Yellowstone, MT. While in West Yellowstone, Kim met Dennis Fry, the love of her life. The two were married on November 9, 1996 in Bothell, WA.

In her early 20s, Kim underwent spinal surgery and radiation therapy for the removal of tumors growing within her spinal column. She initially lost some use of her right hip and leg due to the surgery. Through physical rehabilitation and sheer determination, Kim was eventually able to walk again. In her 40s, Kim faced the re-growth of the tumors. This, along with the scarring and spinal cord damage from her first surgery, led to a long and complicated surgery that left her paralyzed and without the use of her legs. Kim and Dennis faced this challenge head-on, working together to support Kim's additional physical therapy, recovery, and adjustment to life in her wheelchair. Once again, Kim's fortitude and tenacity allowed her to adjust and live the rest of her life with Dennis by her side as her unwavering anchor and support.

Kim is survived by her devoted husband, Dennis – Butte, MT; her sister, Vickie Rosich of Post Falls, Idaho;  her brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Colleen Clausen of Billings, MT; and her brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Bonnie Sheehan of Bothell, WA. She is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.

Kim was preceded in death by her parents: Thomas P.  Sheehan, Edna (Glendenning) Cowell and Sister: Cheryle Hickey of Butte.

Graveside inurnment service will take place on Monday August 11, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery in Butte.
