With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Kiera Brielle Yerkich who died unexpectedly on Sunday, July 12, 2026. She will always be remembered for her infectious personality, her contagious laugh and her bright beautiful eyes. She was so loved and will be missed and forever in our hearts.

Born on October 13, 2002 in Butte, MT to her loving mother Jennifer Windham. She was the light of her mother's life. Kiera came into this world as a daughter to Jennifer and left not only as a daughter but her best friend.

Kiera touched so many lives, she loved truly and deeply ending every conversation with "I Love You".  She was a true force of nature, she instinctively knew who needed a kind word or a friend.

At an early age Kiera loved spending time with her nana and papa, riding her four wheeler, camping at Georgetown Lake, theme park trips, helping papa work around the house and watching movies and cuddling with nana at night. Kiera had a special bond and love for her grandpa (Jess) and grandma (Myrle) spending many enjoyable days with them on "the hill". Growing up Kiera spent her time hanging out and riding bikes and scooters with her best friend Hailey. They were two peas in a pod, inseparable. As Kiera matured her true light shined through and she became the person she wanted to be, she was a sunflower in human form. Kiera believed in being who you wanted to be and accepted people for who they are. During her high school years she met Shayla, a special and dear friend. Shayla always had a special place in Kiera's heart. Kiera enjoyed spending time with her friends and always tried to be the life of the party. Throughout her life she cherished her dogs who brought her great joy and comfort.

Kiera is survived by her loving mother and best friend Jennifer, Tami and Mike Windham (nana and papa), Myrle Cleverly (great-grandmother), Kristie Windham (aunt).  She is also survived by numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins.

Kiera was preceded in death by her baby sister Mattisyn, who she loved dearly, Jesse Cleverly (great-grandfather), Harry and Marilyn Freebourn (great-grandparents), Hugh Windham (great-grandfather).

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life with friends and family will be held at a later date.
