Kevin Joseph Lobb passed away on February 13, 2022 peacefully at his home after a short bout with cancer. Kevin was born on December 5, 1956 to Earl and Mary Jean (Casey) Lobb in Butte, Montana.

Kevin graduated from Butte High School in 1975. In 1993, he met the love of his life Shelly McLean Gelling and they were together until her passing in 2015.

Kevin served in the Army National Guard from July 1975 through April 1979. Kevin worked for the State of Montana Highway Department and finished his career working for the Butte School District as an engineer for over 29 years. Kevin in his younger years liked to hunt and fish. Kevin loved working at sporting events for the Butte School District. Kevin is finally hunting with his partner Panch.

Kevin was blessed with 2 step children Shane (April) and Shawn. Kevin was very blessed with 3 grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Riley, Sophia, and Zac Gelling. Kevin loved to go to their events as a proud papa.

He was proceeded in death by his mother Mary Jean and father Earl, Shelly, grandparents, and Brother Ed and sister-in-law Becky Lobb and his very special dog, Colie.

Kevin is survived Shane and April, Shawn, Riley, Sophia, and Zac Gelling, sister Darlene (Francis) Kolczak, brothers Bill (Judy), Jim (Julie) and Kenny Lobb. Nieces and nephews Brian, Jeremy (Jessica), Shannon, Lauren, Hannah, Abbey, and Jordan Lobb, Kellie (Jerek) Depuydt, Steven (Catie) Kolczak. Thanks to Cathy Jory for being so kind to Kevin.

Friends may call on Friday after 10:00 am in the Duggan Dolan Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Services will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Rite of Committal will follow in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. After the burial on Friday. we will have a luncheon at Casagranda's and please join us for a celebration of life on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the McQueen Club. Please bring stories to share with his family.
