Mr. Kenneth L. Penrod passed away on March 01, 2024, in Butte, Montana.  Kenneth was born on November 16, 1949, in Danville, Illinois, the son of Charles and Ruby (Meade) Penrod.

Kenneth proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force for 23 years.  He married Connie Keen in Potomac, Illinois on November 14, 1981.  After his discharge from the military, he formed Federal Health Services with his wife, Connie, a firm that specialized in medical recruitment, finding doctors to fill positions in rural communities.  He was stationed in Butte as a Recruiter for the Air Force in 1985.  After being stationed, briefly, in Georgia, he made Butte his home in 1991.

Montana was suited to Kenneth's love of the outdoors.  Amongst his many hobbies, he enjoyed gunsmithing, shooting, hunting, and fishing.  When not enjoying the beauty of Montana's great outdoors, Kenneth loved to play poker.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ruby Penrod.  He is survived by his wife, Connie; daughters, Angela (Micheal) Heller, Amber (Brian) Smith, and Kendall (James) Coniglio; grandsons; Troy Dawes (Katie Farinelli) Branden (Daylin) Smith, Jared Edwards, Garrett Edwards, and Connor Smith; and his granddaughter, Maxx Kent.  He is also survived by 3 great-grandson, a great-granddaughter;  his sister, Carolyn Stevens (Carlo Lewis) of Indianapolis, Indiana; and his niece and nephew.

Friends may call on Thursday after 11:00 am in the Duggan Dolan Mortuary Chapel.  Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 PM (noon).  Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
