Kelly James Ralph Bowen passed away Saturday March 14, 2020. He was born on November 3, 1994, to Gary Bowen and Virginia Lowney. Kelly was raised in Butte where he graduated from Butte High School. He then enlisted in the Army where he was shipped to Korea and Iraq. When Kelly's active duty tour was over he returned to Montana and moved to Missoula, where he attended the U of M and continued his career with the Army Reserve.

Kelly is survived by his parents, Gary and Virginia; step-mothers Lisa and Kim Bowen. Brother, Dale (Angel) and their son, Reid, Blake, Andrew, Aaron, Cordel, Gage (Hope); and their daughter, Katherine Grace Dienhart, and Shawn. Sisters, Alexandra (Koby), Aireanna, Kara and Lacy; and Granddad Walter Lowney. He is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles, as well as many cousins. Especially his cousin, Alexis, and her kids Cali and Isabella Brown; and his cousin, Hannah, and her son Colton Fite; grandparents, Clarence and Shirley Van Elsberg; and great-grandpa, Ellwood Machen.

Kelly was preceded in death by his grandparents, Shirley Lowney, Jane Machen Muff, and Cleve Bowen; and his uncle, Bart Lowney; and his niece, Macy Anderson.

Kelly's greatest love in life was is family, friends, and especially his military family. Kelly is going to be missed by all who knew him.
