The Raider Nation has lost a true fan!

Keith James "Keithers" Lamey passed away on December 13, 2025, at St. James Healthcare in Butte, Montana after a courageous battle with cancer.

Keith was born on September 10, 1953, in Havre, Montana to Clinton and Joan (Sticka) Lamey behind his twin sister, Kathy.  He attended St. Jude's Parochial School and Havre High before enlisting in the United States Army.  After his discharge, Keith and his wife, Donna (Morsett), made their home in Butte and welcomed their daughter, Elizabeth,

Keith was a lifelong sports enthusiast and only fired the Raiders twice in his lifetime.  He wore many hats in his life, but his last 22 years were as a dedicated and loyal employee of Star Lanes Family Sports Center.  He ultimately became overseer of the Mile High Reception Hall, which he proudly set up for so many functions.  It was there that he became a good friend and best buddy to Kay Phillips, who was his boss and would become his caretaker later in life.

Keith will be remembered for his storytelling.  His tales were certainly colorful!

Keith is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Lamey; aunt, Jean Fox; sisters, Dawn (John) Adkins of Wenatchee, Washington, and Kathy Lamey of Meridan, Idaho; brother, Jon Lamey of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; and many cousins,  nieces, and nephews.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Joan Lamer; brothers, Craig and Michael Lamey; and his granddaughter, Brianna Lamey. He was also preceded in death by his special nephew, J.P. Lamey; and his niece, Melissa Surges.

May the Chances R Crew, Geno and Kelly; and the Mine Shaft Crew, Kevin and Trudy Clarke, hoist a few for Keithers, also besties; Bob Duffy, Michelle, Shawn, Heidi, and Becky.  Remember, there is a Pork Chop in every can of Rainer!

Per Keith's wishes, there will be no services, and his ashes will be spread in the Spring.
