On the morning of December 30th 2024 Joe Little gained his wings.  After a short illness, Joe's 'check engine light' finally went out.

Joe was born on June 28th. 1955 in Butte Montana to Walter and Jennie Little.

Joe was a proud Greeley Hawk in grade school, attended East Junior High and graduated from Butte High School in 1973.

Joe's life propelled into the charismatic person he was.   After high school, Joe started H&L Detailing with Tom Hafer.  Joe then went on to many professions: Smith Construction, Self Employed, Charlie Davies, and thoroughly enjoyed bartending.

Joe loved softball, golf, floating and fishing.  Joe lived in Dewey and enjoyed the memorabilia he collected throughout his life with Robbie and Evel Knievel.  Joe had a front row seat of the Big Hole River and was nicknamed 'The Mayor'.

The fun started when Joe hooked up with Robbie Knievel and Spanky Spangler.  For many years, Joe traveled around the United States with Team Knievel building ramps.  This was the catalyst to Joe personally meeting many celebrities. Naming a few: Muhammad Ali, Roberto Duran, Bill Clinton, Clint Eastwood, Regis Philbin, Jay Leno, Grizzly Adams, Burt Reynolds, Peter Fonda, Vince Gill, Jeff Foxworthy, Robert Patrick and Tim Montana.

Joe (aka 'The Beak') didn't have an enemy and was always seen with a huge smile on his face. He truly had a million dollar grin. Joe referred to his home as "The Ghetta" when in fact it was his Paradise.   Joe had many one liners: 'How you doin', "I think I lost my last braincell', 'Mixin up drinks with mixed feelings', "15 more and I'm outta here', 'The Credits are Rollin', "Quack Quack"… the list goes on.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents Jennie and Walter, his sister Juanita and his brother Walt.  Dear friends Robbie Knievel. Joe Feroni, Joe Leskovar, Curt Pentecost, Tom Hafer, Muzzy Faroni, Ed Zemljak, and of course Evel Knievel, Dano, Granny, Roger, Woodsy, Ken Schmidt and Rick Fulton.

Joe is survived by his brother Bill, niece's Odette, Candee Jo, Jenn, Julie, nephew's Marc, Jimm, Robert and Casey,  girlfriend Lynn Dudden, Jim Dick ('aka Cleaver') Vuk, Turbo, Ken Hoar ('aka Bateman'), the Fisher Family, Will and Joyce Sty, Patti Fulton and Rudy Ketchum. This list could honestly name most of Butte and Beaverhead County.

Until we meet again Beakman, those who knew you absolutely have no doubt the gates of heaven welcomed you with open arms.  A hole will remain within all of our hearts … "and nothin fits there"

Relatives and friends may call from 10:00am to 11:00am Thursday January 9th in St. Ann's Catholic Church for visitations.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am.  Rite of Committal will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.

oe "The Beek" Little passed away Monday December 30 in Butte.  Relatives and friends may call from 10:00am to 11:00am Thursday January 09, 2025 in St. Ann's Catholic Church for visitations.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am.   Rite of committal will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.   A complete obituary will follow.
