Mrs. Joanne "Honey Bunny" McClafferty passed away on Tuesday morning at her residence, with her family at her side. Joanne joined her large, loving, family on June 07, 1947. She was born in Butte, Montana; the daughter of Paul and Rose (Rizio) Rajacich.

Joanne attended St. Lawrence O'Toole Parochial School and Butte High School. Her lovable personality and thoughtfulness made her perfectly suited to work as a waitress at the Big Butte Tavern, the M&M Café, and the War Bonnet Inn.

On August 17, 1980, Joanne married Pat McClafferty. They were constant companions and partners in crime until his death on February 18, 2000.

When Joanne wasn't busy taking care of others, she enjoyed painting ceramics and playing Bingo. She spent countless hours enjoying the outdoors, fishing and camping with her family, or making homes for the birds and gardening with her mother. For her many past times, her favorite time was the time she spent with her family, especially the time spent spoiling her "Honey Bunny" grandchildren whenever she had a chance.

In addition to her husband, Joanne was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Nicole Andrea Lundgren; her brothers, Joe "Sonny" Rajacich and Frank "Butch" Rajacich; her sister, Nickolette "Nean" Mulcahy; and her sister-in-law, Margaret "Margie" Rajacich. She is survived, and will be missed, by her daughters and son-in-law, Tara and Jerry Wood, and Leanne and Jamie Lundgren; and her grandchildren, Matthew and Ashley Wood, to whom she will always and forever be their "Honey Bunny". She is also survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue Rajacich, "Cookie" and Steve LaRusso, Nancy and Pat Lewis; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Linda Rajacich, and "Buddy" and Vickie Rajacich; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honey Bunnies family wishes to extend a special, heartfelt, thank you to the Frontier Hospice, and to Angie Pratt and her daughters, Kaity and Kayli, for their time, and their love and care that they gave "our mom".

Friends are asked to join the family this evening after 5:00 PM in the Duggan Dolan Mortuary Chapel. Parish Vigil will be recited at 6:30 PM. Funeral services will be conducted in the Mortuary Chapel on Friday at 11:00 am. Rite of Committal will follow at Sunset Memorial Garden in Crackerville, near Fairmont Hot Springs. Memorials are suggested to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the Shriner's Hospital for Children, Frontier Hospice, or Our Lady of the Rockies.
