Jenny K Cunneen, 72, of Butte, Montana, passed away peacefully on March 4th 2026, with her loving husband of 50 years at her side. She was born on March 9th 1953 in Glasgow, Montana to Bill and Dorothy Bell.

Jenny grew up in Glasgow with five brothers and sisters. Her childhood was blessed with family time, horseback trips into the Bob Marshall Wilderness, and time d spent at Ft. Peck Lake. She graduated from Glasgow High School and attended nursing school at Carroll College and Montana State University. In 1974 while she was doing her nursing rotations in Butte, she met the love of her life, Mick Cunneen. They were married in 1975 and spent their first 26 years in Havre where they raised three children and Jenny worked as a registered nurse in the critical care unit at Northern Montana Hospital. She was an excellent nurse and also served as an Advanced Cardiac Life Support instructor. In 2002, they moved to Billings and lived there until moving to Butte last summer. Jenny took great pride in her work and family. She was a loving wife and mother and devoted her life to family. She will be remembered for her caring nature, service to her family, and her faith in Jesus.

She is survived by her husband Mick, loving children, Seth and his wife Carla, Kara, Tessa and her husband Aleksey; grandchildren, Jack and Wren; and siblings, Cherie Edwards, Kent Bell, Kari Wiens, and Kathy Sather. She was predeceased by her parents, infant son Daniel, and brother Steve.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of Headwaters Hospice for their compassionate care during Jenny's final days.

A wake service will be held at Duggan Dolan Mortuary at 5 PM on March 12th and a celebration of life will be held at Abundant Life Fellowship on March 13th at 11 AM.
