Jenny Sharon Collins, 74, passed away on February 20th, 2020, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 12th, 1945 in Oakland, CA to Gene and Ada (Costner) Sage, the fourth of seven children. In the early 1950's, her family relocated to Montana and made Butte their home. Jenny was a Whittier Wildcat and received her high school education from Butte High, graduating in 1963. It was there she met the love of her life, Ron Collins. They ran away together in a blue 1963 Ford Falcon, eloping in Salmon, Idaho, on January 11th, 1964. Ron and Jenny were married for 56 years and had five beautiful children: Ronald Jr, Robert, Jodi, Julie and Janelle.

Jenny had many passions. She was an avid bowler, who even managed to take home a few state championships. She loved tending to her flowers, playing golf and following her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren in all of their activities. She had a knack for crafting and was well known in the community for the beautiful wreaths she created and sold at local bazaars.

One of Jenny's most distinguished accomplishments was being one of the first female agents hired by Allstate Insurance. Since the day she was hired, she worked hard to build one of the most successful agencies in Montana, all while managing the chaos that comes with raising five children.

Jenny was preceded in death by her father Gene, mother Ada, brothers Billie and Gene, sister Nancy, and daughter Janelle.

Jenny is survived by her husband Ron Collins, brothers Russ (Jan) Sage, Phillip (Kathy) Sage, Dan Sage, sons Ronnie (April) Collins, Robbie (Jamie) Collins, daughters Jodi Johnston, Julie (Rich) Daum, grandchildren Krystal (Cody) Kelly, Tyler Johnston, Jake Johnston, Kaleb Bercier, Taylor Daum, Dalton Daum, Jennifer Collins and great grandchildren Keighton Johnston, Khloe Kelly, Kaden Johnston, Kingston Bercier, Braxtin Bercier, Westyn Bercier, and Tatum Bercier.

Friends may call on Wednesday, February 26th, 2020, after 9:00 am in Saint Patrick's Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. A reception will follow immediately after at the Butte Country Club.
