Janelle Marie McCaffery, daughter of the late Dan and LaVerne Taulbee, passed away September 01, 2024, with her brother Mitchell by her side while receiving comfort care in St. James Healthcare.

Janelle attended local schools and Montana Tech.  She moved to California before relocating to Canada, where she was employed by the Canadian Government and Hudson Bay Department Stores.  Later in life, she reconnected with her High School and College sweetheart, Larry McCaffery. They shared 15 years together, until Larry's death in 2021.

Cremation has taken place and, at Janelle's request, her ashes will be privately interred with her husband, Larry, in the Wisdom Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Butte Emergency Food Bank, or the charity of the donor's choice.
