Herbert Partrick Shannon, AKA "Kenny Clutch", 83, passed away March, 5th, 2020, in the comfort of his home.

Herb was born March 15th, 1936 to Herbert and Madelone (Lynch) Shannon. He attended Boys Central high school, which he played center for the 1952 Central High School State A champions football team.

In 1957 he married the love of his life Elaine Claire Maenpa. Together they had 6 children and they were married 56 years until Elaine's passing on October 31, 2014.

Herb started his career in the appliance business and was employed with his uncle Tom Kirby appliance until 1971, when he opened his own business Herb Shannon appliance. He was part of the uptown business community for over 49 years. Herb provided for his family, and he loved the outdoors snowmobiling, camping, hunting, riding motorcycles.

He is survived by children and spouses: Lori and Brad Spindler, Herbie Pat Shannon, Tom and Bobbi Shannon, Robert Dean Shannon, Becky Shannon and Jim Rhodes and Tim and Rachel Shannon. His beloved grandchildren: Bradley Spindler, Brian Spindler, Shannon Spindler, Ginny Spindler, Kevin Shannon, Valerie Krankowski, Trista Costello, Brady Shannon , Dean Shannon, Madelynn Rhodes, Hannah Rhodes, Brett Shannon, Sara Shannon and AJ Shannon. Also surviving are great grandchildren Braden Spindler, Kaleb Spindler, Gordan Sandoval, and Joey Sandoval.

He was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Madelone (Lynch) Shannon, and his wife Elaine Maenpa Shannon.

Relatives and friends may call from 10:00AM to 11:00Am Wednesday in St. Ann's Church for visitations. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM.   Rite of Committal will follow in Holy Cross Mausoleum
