Fank Richard Howard SR.

Passed away on September 22nd of 2025. Surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born Cartersville MT on January 2nd of 1944 to Milton Columbus Howard and Claressa Mira [Sexton] Howard being the youngest out of 4 children

Frank grew up in the eastern Montana area attending school in Custer County where he met and fell in love with Sharon Marie Swift. Frank and Sharon got married September 3rd of 1966. In miles city MT. they had 6 children.

Frank provided for his family by being a member of the laborer's union, working as a construction worker/laborer, railroad worker, dairy farmer/cattle rancher, over the road trucker, also drove taxis, passenger buses and vans. Also working for U.S forest survive.

Frank enjoyed attending the seventh-day Adventist church, fishing, hunting, camping, the outdoors, being apart of the Butte community. His true passion though was spending time and attending functions with his family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He really loved being a papa.

Frank is proceeded in death by his parents, brothers Donald, Milton and Walter Howard, grandsons Chance and Triston Howard, and great grandchild Natalie Wells.

He is survived by Sharon Howard, his children Annette and Patrick Sanders, Frank Howard Jr, Alan and Christina Howard, Kimberly and Tm hay, Patricia Howard, Nicole and Jack Buell, his grandchildren Michael, Amanda, Chrystal, Dalton, Brady, Nicole, Amanda, Jacob, Carina, Brent, Jared, Christian, Angelica, Mathew, McKaley, Dustin, Jessie, Jaynae, and Jolene, and 31 great grandchildren

He will be missed but never forgotten by many

Friends may call on Friday, October 03, 2025, after 12:00 PM (noon) at the Seventh Day Adventist Church on Grand Avenue.  Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM.
