Evanna (Vonnie) Bolton

April 19, 1945 – October 13, 2026

Evanna (Vonnie) Bolton passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

Born on April 19, 1945, Evanna was a lifelong member of the Butte community. She attended local schools and graduated from Butte High School in 1963. Throughout her working years, she was employed by Mountain Bell Telephone Company, Trojan Electric, Montana Power, and Butte Head Start, contributing to her community through her work and dedication.

Evanna found some of her greatest joys in traveling and, most of all, watching her grandchildren play sports. She treasured the opportunity to cheer them on from the sidelines and be part of their lives, creating memories her family will carry with them for years to come. The time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, brought her great happiness and will remain among their most cherished memories.

Evanna was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Anna “Baba” Murjia; her mother, Mylie Vukovich; her brother, Louie; and several aunts and uncles on both the Bolton, Vukovich , Murja, Likes and Fry sides of the family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Mickey Bolton; her daughter, Nicole Bolton Bugni; her son, Mickey (Judy) Bolton; her grandchildren, Mickey (Kennason) Bolton, Hunter (Morgan) Bugni, Jordyn Bolton, and Makayla Bugni; and her brother, Mike and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind extended family members and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory.

Evanna’s life was filled with family, travel, and the simple joy of watching those she loved grow and succeed. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her, but the memories she created and the love she shared will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Funeral Services

Services will be held at Duggan Dolan Mortuary on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. Interment of ashes will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
