Edith Ann Miller, or "Edie" as she was affectionately known to all who knew and loved her, passed away on March 21, 2026, in Butte, Montana with her loving family by her side.  Edie was born in Butte on December 22, 1933, the daughter of Howard "Hub" and Mae (Conklin) Carlyon.

Edie attended local schools and graduated from Butte High School.  On February 04, 1952, she married William Frank Miller in Butte.  He preceded her in death in 1971.  Edie was employed at the Colonial Bakery and the Butte Stockyard before joining the crew at Skaggs.  Whether you know it as Skaggs, Osco Drug, or CVS, Edie's broad smile and cheerful demeanor greeted you for 48 years.

Besides being the life of the party wherever she went, Edie enjoyed horses and knitting.  She also enjoyed watching a challenging game show. Jeopardy and Family Feud were among her favorites.  She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and also enjoyed her grandson's sporting events.  A devout Roman Catholic, the focus or Edie's life was always the three F's … Faith, Family, and Friends.  She shall forever be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and outrageous personality.

In addition to her husband, William Frank Miller Sr., Edie was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Roberta Plumb; and her grandson, Shayne Pearce.  She is survived, and will be missed, by her children,  Cheryll and George Markins, Carole and Leonard Wortman, and William "Bill" Jr. and Adrienne Miller; grandchildren, Beau and Hande Miller, Marcus Miller, Zayne Miller, Lex Miller, Shanna and Greg Loewen, Kelley Folosm, and Farrah and Mike Burke; and her great grandchildren, Harper Miller, Abby and Emily Loewen, Grace and Kenra Burke, Cassius Pearce; and Brendan, Derrick, and Alec Lyons.  She is also survived by her great-great grandchild, Athena Lyons; her sister Arlene (Larry) Staton; and numerous other family members and cherished friends which include Earl and Jean Conklin, Ronnie and Diane Conklin, Adams Markins, and Andera Markins.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Honeybee Hospice, Krystan, Kira, and Katlin.  We are forever grateful.

Friends may call on June 10, 2026, after 9:00 am in the Duggan Dolan Mortuary Chapel.  Services will be celebrated at 10:00 am.  Rite of Committal will follow in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
