In loving memory of our mother Dorrie Bolton. (1932-2020)

Mom was born Dorothy Ann Dalbec in 1932 to her parents Fred and Dorothy Dalbec in Helena, Montana. Her sister Donna was born a year after her, followed by her sisters Margarete, and Mary Jo, and her brother Fred. Mom grew up in Basin, Boulder, Butte and Walkerville. She married the love of her life Jack Bolton in 1950 at the St. Lawrence O'Toole Church.

For many years, she was a stay at home mom raising 4 children, John Pat, Charlotte (Sis), Christine (Chris) and Lynda.   After her children were raised, she went to work at the Montana Power Company in 1972; she was very proud of her time with the power company and remained there until her retirement in 1988. Shortly after retirement, she found that she had too much spare time and went to work at the Walkerville Liquor store; she truly enjoyed working there with her long-time friend Wilene Mullaney, and said that "Leo McCarthy was the best boss she ever had".

In 1990 John Pat built our parents a new home and they shared their life together there until our father passed-away in 2009.   Mom loved to have her children, grandchildren, friends and relatives at her "Dream house".   She enjoyed her home and the beautiful view from her front porch, she would always call us to see if we were looking at the beautiful sunset.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Bolton, her granddaughter Tonya Coates, and her sister and best friend thru life Donna Jangula.

She leaves behind her children: John Pat Bolton (Cheryl), Charlotte Coates (John), Chris Naugle (Bob), Lynda DeWitt (Ron). Sisters: Mary Jo Phyel, Margarete Leason, and brother: Fred Dalbec (Vernetta) and her dear special friends Natalie Opie and Sandy Kingston.

Her " Treasured " Grandchildren: Shannon Smith (Charles), Mike Coates (Ellen Marie), Kelly Schonsberg (Ray), Brenda DeWitt (Cory Kanta), Ronnie Walker (John), Pat DeWitt, Rob Naugle (Heidi), Kevin Naugle (Karen), Sara D'Lima (Alan), Erin Staack (Brian), Jeri Miles, Jennifer Lloyd, Andy Scharf (Melissa), Tony Scharf (Kelli).

Her "Great" grandchildren: Lexi, Brittney, and Kaacen DeWitt, Abriana Doyle (Cody), Rylee Rawson (Sean), Brystal Kuchtyn, Cole and Johnny Walker, Andria, Regan, and Jack-John Kanta, Trinity and Tristin Coates, Kadin, Kale, and Willy Schonsberg, Preslie, Charlie and Paislie Smith, Michael LeFever (Mariah), Tanner, Trenton, Curtis, Deearea, Kara and Courtney Naugle, Noah, Dylan, Isaac and Gabby D'Lima, Kase, Sydnie, Cayden and Keegan Scharf.

Her "Great, Great " grandchildren: Tynlee Cooper, Carter and Grayson LeFever, Kase, Sydnie, Cayden and Keegan Scharf, Kole Brown, Danielle Downey, Brandt LaFond, Taylor Houck, Deklyn O'Rourke, and Oakley Dvoroznak.

Friends may call on Thursday after 10:00 am in St. Ann's Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Rite of Committal will follow in the Columbarium at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.

For those who can not attend, we will have a celebration of Dorrie's life with friends and family later this summer. Memorials may be made to moms' favorite charities: St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Butte Animal Shelter, or the charity of your choice.

Mom, you left us beautiful memories, your love is our guide, although we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
