Dolores (Dody) Brothers passed away on October 9th in her home surrounded by her family.  She was born in Butte, Montana on March 30, 1936 to William and Catherine (Harvey) Clark.  Soon thereafter, she was blessed with her younger sister and lifelong best friend, Darlene (Olenick).  Adopted brother Bill Clark completed their family.  Dody attended McKinley Elementary and Butte High School.  She married the love of her life, Jerry, on June 8, 1958 and they had three children – Jerry, Wayne and Jodie.  Her husband Jerry passed in 2019.

Dody was passionate about ceramics.  She opened Dod's Ceramics in the 1960's and continued teaching  until recent years.  She was very active with the Montana State Ceramic Association, having served as President for multiple terms.  She and Jerry were also actively involved with the Montana Water Well Driller's Association.

Having been a Butte High Twirler, Dody had a love of dance.  She thoroughly enjoyed Jodie and granddaughter Dee's years in the Purple B'z Drill Team, and stayed involved for decades afterwards running pasty sale fund raisers for the B'z and Butte High Band.  She is fondly known by many as "The Pasty Lady".  She also loved helping Jodie with the Razzle Dazzles Drill Team and watching Dee & Katie perform.

Following the passing of her Mom (Ma) and Sister Dar, Dody had a passion for Angels.  Anything turquoise or chocolate was loved, and her favorite place was their cabin in Wise River.  She cherished going "looking for Bullwinkle" with the guys and taking rides to see the autumn leaves.  But Dody's highest priority was her family.  She was the best Mom and Granny in the world.  She especially loved watching her grandkids with all of their activities.  Most recently, she was a regular spectator at Montana State watching her favorite cheerleader, granddaughter MaKinzie.

Dody is survived by sons Jerry Brothers (Jane) and Wayne Brothers (Wendy Steinbeck); daughter Jodie Mason (JR Hansen); grandchildren Dee Brothers, Katie Saint (Zak), Erik Mason (Lauryn), Ryan Mason (Brooke) and MaKinzie Mason; 3 great grandsons and a great granddaughter due in December; friend and brother in-law Frank Olenick (Shirley Parini); special niece Judy Lovachek (Keith); and numerous other sister and brother in-laws, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers include Mick McClafferty, Les Hastie, Patrick Milner and Larry Milner.  Dody also had many special friends, too numerous to mention.  Special thanks to Granny's special caretakers, Karli from Enhabit, Liane and Dee.

A visitation honoring Dody will be held Sunday, October 13th from 4-7 pm in the Duggan Dolan Mortuary Chapel.  Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, October 14th at 11:00 am in the Mortuary Chapel followed by interment at Mountain View Cemetery Mausoleum.  Reception to follow.
