David Leo Egan, age 72, died Friday, November 7th, 2025, in Butte, MT.  He was born in Madison, Wisconsin to Jim & Gloria Egan.

Dave graduated from Biwabik High School in 1971.   He went on to join the US Army and served in the US and Korea.  After his service he attended Mesabi & Hibbing Community Colleges and graduated with a Registered Nusing Degree.

David loved music, singing & playing guitar and the fine arts.   He also enjoyed cooking, saunas and his favorite TV programs.  Dave had a quirky sense of humor and often the life of the party.  He moved to Montana where he loved to hunt and enjoy the wide open spaces.  He had a favorite dog companion named Missy.

He is survived by brothers Dan (Jody), Douglas, and Darren (Karen) Egan and his sisters Diane Theis, Deborah (Paul) Maki, Denise Egan and Dawn Gross.  He had numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and a grandnephew.

He was predeceased by his parents Jim & Gloria Egan, nephew Matthew Lepak and many other relatives and friends.
