Cindy Atkins, 64, passed away in Butte on Friday December 3, 2021, ending a brave battle with cancer.

She was born in Bishop, California, to Harold and Betty Atkins.

Cindy grew up in Casper, Wyoming, and later moved to Glendive, Montana, with her father where she completed her schooling. It was there that she started her 40-year career as a bartender and casino cashier, working in bars and casinos all over the West. She settled in Whitehall and Butte in her final years.Cindy was hard-working and honest and had a big heart for the downtrodden and less fortunate. She was caring and loved animals.

She was proceeded in death by her parents; sisters, Tina and Gigi Atkins; brothers, John and Bill Atkins; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Cindy will be missed and fondly remembered by friends and family and is survived by her partner, Walter Hinick; her brothers, Patrick (Kaz) Atkins and Mike Atkins; sisters, Bert (Dan) Adcock, Patsy Atkins and Jill Paris; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
