Our dear mother and grandmother left this world to fly with the angels and be free from pain forever.
Cecelia Theresa was born January 10, 1931 to Nettie (Monahan) and Timothy Dwyer in Butte. She, along with her brothers, John and Tim, grew up under the shadows of the Mountain Con Mine. Cecelia attended St. Mary's grade school. Her fondest childhood memories were spending Children's' Day every Thursday at the Columbia Gardens.
Cecelia later graduated from the Butte Business College in 1947 and was employed by Kane doctors for several years before working in the County Superintendent's office with Mabel Hogan. This move was to change the direction of her life. It was here she met the love of her life, Bill, who had come to register his teaching license and bring Mabel some fish from latest catch, but in turn caught Ceil's phone number. She was employed with Pascoe Music until retirement.
Cecelia and William were married June 5, 1954. Job opportunities relocated them from Butte to Kalispell and returning to Butte in 1962 with their three children.
Ceil was a superb wife, daughter, mother and grandmother always putting their needs ahead of hers. She took great pride in her home and family. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, music, especially bands, the Fourth of July parade. She loved supporting her children and grandchildren at every opportunity and shopping every store in Butte on Saturdays. Her fondest times were spent on picnics, New Year's Eve and holidays with their dear friends the Mondlochs, Quinns, MacMillans and Diciches.
She very much missed her husband, Bill, since 2007, her parents Tim and Nettie Dwyer, her in-laws William and Lillian Kambich, her brothers, John and Tim and daughter in law Wendy Kambich.
Surviving are her children Michelle and husband Tim Bosch, Steven and wife Doreen (step family), and Jim and wife Peggy. She was blessed with her wonderful grandchildren: Micaul (Jason Russell) and Calley Bosch, Lindsey, Steven, and Lexie Kambich, Karly, Jordan (Kyle McIntyre), Kourtney (Taylor DeBruycker), and Brynne Kambich. Her special joys are her great-grandchildren, Mason, Tucker and Cal McIntyre. She is also survived by sister-in-law Kathleen Dwyer of California
We will miss your pasties and shrimp dip, Sunday dinners, your warm smile, your understanding and comfort, whistling while you worked, but most of all, your unconditional love and your Irish eyes dancing with joy.
Mom would love to be remembered with Mass cards or charity of choice.
The family would like to express appreciation for the exceptional care received at St. James hospital and the Kmart pharmacy staff for all their services.
Relatives and friends may call Friday after 5:00PM at Duggan Dolan Mortuary. Vigil service will be conducted at 7:00PM. Visitation will also be held Saturday morning after 9:00AM in St. Ann's Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00AM in the Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
