Carole L. Walkingshaw passed away Sunday July 25 ^th , 2021 at her home in Butte. She was born on July 01, 1946 in Anaconda, Montana the daughter of Herbert and Esther (Johnson) Miller.

The family moved to Butte when she was three months old. She received her education in Butte schools and graduated from Butte High School in 1964. She received her Associates Degree from Vo-Tech.

Carole retired from Consolidated Freight in 2002. She was also a caregiver for her mother Esther. She married Gail Walkingshaw on August 28, 1995 in Butte.

Carole loved the time she spent with family and traveling around the world.   She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Herb Miller; grandson Jason Flink; step-son Andy Walkingshaw.   She is survived by her husband Gail; brother Richard Miller and sister Mariah (Mark) Williams; son David (Wendy) Gertz; daughter Eva (Kevin) Fournier; son Jonathan (Brandy) Gertz; step-son Nole (Miriam) Walkingshaw. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 six great grandchildren.

In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place and private family services will be held. A celebration of life will be held from 5:00PM to 7:00PM Friday at the Butte Country Club.  In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to a charity of donor's choice.
