Elizabeth "Betty" Louise Hollow died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on September 27, 2019. She was born on April 24, 1934 in Butte Montana to Bruce and Patricia (Curran) Spencer.

Betty attended St. Lawrence O'Toole Elementary School and graduated from Girls Central High School. She met the love of her life, Jim, while both were employed at Hennessy's Department Store. They were married at St. Lawrence Church on August 29, 1953. Betty worked at  Buttery's Foods before starting her career at the Montana Power Company. She was the first woman hired in the drafting department. She retired from there after 25 years. She was an active member of the  Centerville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and Silver Bow Parks Women's Auxiliary.

Betty enjoyed many trips throughout the state with the volunteer fire department. She  loved camping, and loved to spend time at her place at Georgetown Lake. Her favorite event there was the annual golf tournament. She also enjoyed bowling and attending (Montana) Power Club functions.

Betty was  preceded in death by her parents Bruce and Pat Spencer, Husband Jim, infant son Billy and daughter Patty Kay Kramarich, brother Bill Spencer, brothers in law Jim "Smitty" Smith, Jack Hollow, Gene "Weiner" Byrnes, Ray Callahan, and nephew Jimmy Smith. She will be sadly missed by daughter Linda (Stan)Williams, son Jim Hollow, son in law Kevin Kramarich, sisters Marlene Smith, Patsy (Bing) Cain, Helen (Terry) Gavigan, sisters in law Nancy Hollow ,Betty Callahan, and Patsy Byrnes. Grandchildren: Craig &Kelsie Williams (Kellen, Kynley, Tymber); Jeff & Ashley Williams (Bentley and Blake); Jimmer and Jodi Hollow, Amanda and Tony Schneiderhan (Mckinley & Aspen); Matthew & Lauren Brusati (Carter & Olivia).  Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, her special puppy companion Rufus, and  her dear friend Leeta.

Sisters forever (4 queens) and our special princess. Until we meet again.

Family will receive friends at 10 am Wednesday, October 2nd at the Immaculate Conception Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am. Following the Mass, Rite of Committal will take place at the Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to St. Jude's or charity a of donors choice.
