Arlene Jean McDougall passed away on April 03, 2025 in Butte, Montana.  She was born on July 02, 1935 in Butte, Montana, the daughter of William "Buzz and Loretta (O'Donnell) Telling.

Arlene attended St. Ann's Parochial School and graduated from Girls Central.  On July 06, 1952 she married Richard Allen McDougall at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Butte.  For more than 32 years, Arlene worked as a Nurses Aide at St. James Hospital.

Arlene had a natural gift for taking care of people.  When she wasn't busy caring for her family, or her patients, she enjoyed building dollhouses or baking; however, the greatest joy of Arlene's life was her family.  She loved watching her children and grandchildren play baseball or softball, or attending a dance recital.  A devout Catholic, Arlene lived her life by the 3 F's; faith, family, and friends.

Arlene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard "Mac" McDougall; her sons, John and Ron McDougall; her brother, Bill Telling; and her niece, Mary Carol Mehrens.  She was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Ray Mehrens; and her daughter-in-law, Jan McDougall.  She is survived by her children, Mike (Linda) McDougall, Rick (Juanita) McDougall, Debbie (Larry) Leathers, Sharon (Tom) Lazzari, Bob (Jennifer) McDougall, Jim McDougall, Donna Gagnon (Kenny Groves), Dan (Nola) McDougall, and Brian McDougall; and her grandchildren, Lisa and Dave Weber, Mark McDougall, Carrie McDougall, Kelsey and Oliver Yuhas, Stacey and Bob Pritts, Jessica and Bryan Bagley, Rick McDougall, Jr., Erik and Chrissy McDougall, Nicole and Ernie Wilson, Chrissy and Jason Donaldson, Jenny and Buddy Mcewen, Mari and Buddy Arnold, T.J. and Jamie Lazzari, Annie Cunningham and Ryan Antonovich, Casey Lazzari and Steve Johnson, Steven Madina, Janice and Bryan Eggleston, Krystal and Kenny Pester, William McDougall, Phillip McDougall, Candice McDougall, Lori McDougall, Cody and Robin McDougall, Makayla McDougall, Melissa Smith, Brandon Maxwell, Kaylee Maxwell and Malcolm, Gerald Gagnon and Laura, Lizz and Ed Brush, Patricia Mikelson, Shaeyanne and Zack Rodrigez, Sammie Medina, Jaylann Medina, Breezy and Austan Bosch, and Netta and Dylan Conway; 56 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sister, Carol Mehrens; and brother Phil (Marlene) Telling.

Friends may call on Friday after 10:00 am in St. Patrick's Catholic Church.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am.  Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
