A lifelong Walkerville native born September 15, 1943, Annette Bolton passed away February 4, 2023 surrounded by the love of her family in Austin, TX after a very brief illness. Annette was many things in her life, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a grandmother and a great grandmother. She enjoyed all of these roles and shined especially bright with the titles Mom and Grammy. She dedicated her life to her family and we felt the blessing of having her as our Mom and Grammy every day. She celebrated each and every one of us and we never doubted how proud she was of us and how much she loved us.

Annette married the love of her life Walter (Tom) Bolton on March 17, 1969. He proposed by saying "you better come marry me or I am going back out to sea". Annette gladly made the trip to Fallon Nevada to take his hand in marriage. They welcomed two children into their family Walter (Tom) Jr and Colleen. When Tom retired from the Navy they packed up and moved back home to Walkerville. Tom passed away in July 1973 but Annette stayed true to him and raised their children on her own. We take solace in knowing they are joined again in heaven where they will spend eternity together.

After her children were raised, Annette went back to work as a monitor at the Butte School District. She made many great friends while working that she remained friends with long after her retirement in 2007. She was also a proud active member of the Walkerville City Council.

Annette spent every moment she could with her family and made every birthday, holiday, or special event a celebration. She loved watching all of her grandchildren's activities from baseball, football, basketball, wrestling, and taekwondo to dance rehearsals, softball and most recently cheer competitions. She hated sports as she would always tell everyone but she never missed an opportunity to watch Cole, Dylan, TW, Jacob, Baylee, Killian or Vivienne and was the proudest cheerleader in the stands.

Preceded in death by her husband, parents Hazel and Bill Mooney, brothers Bill and Bob, sister Charlene, many members of her Bolton family.

Survived by her children Tom (Peggy), Colleen (Tom), grandchildren TW (Molly), Baylee Bolton, Cole (Maci), Dylan (Calli), Jacob McDonald, great grandchildren Lane Bolton, Killian, Vivienne, Maverick McDonald, sisters Linda Jenkins and Debbie Martin, brother Pat (Angela) Mooney, in-laws Mick (Vonnie), Tim (Judy), Chuck (Darlene) Bolton, John Price and Lynn Backa. Numerous cousins, nieces,  nephews and lifelong friends, Elizabeth Gilboy, Billie Jean Ries, Donna Brown, and Trudy and Steve Tomazich.

Relatives and friends may call from 10:00am to 11:00am Thursday February 23, in St. Lawrence Church for visitations.  A celebration of life will be held at 11:00am in St. Lawrence Church.  Rite of committal will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
