Annarose Pennock, 97 of Butte, MT passed away on April 12, 2016, at Copper Ridge Rehabilitation Center.
Annarose was born in Butte, MT to Otto and Rose Nebelung on February 11, 1919 and was later adopted by her step father Simon Spannring. She was an only child. She attended St. Joseph Catholic School and graduated from Girls Central High School.
She lived in the house her father had built for 93 years until she moved to The Springs (formerly Marquis Assisted Lived) for four years preceding her death.
Annarose was married to Michael Popovich and they had two children, Michael Otto Popovich and Antoinette (Toni) Ueland. She was later divorced from Michael and later married Chuck Pennock.
Her first job was with her father in his delicatessen at 124 W. Park, and later at his business to North Main Street by the Classic Bar. After high school she worked at Armour Packing (Steele's Warehouse location). After Armour, she worked at the Texas Company, then Continental Oil and then at Roberts Rocky Mountain Equipment until she retired.
Annarose was a member of the Alpha Phy Gama Chapter Sorority. She enjoyed going out to dinner and cocktails with "The Group" every Friday and Saturday for many years. She also enjoyed bowling, bridge, yard work, needle point and crocheting.
Annarose is survived by her children Michael Popovich (Betsy Jo) and Toni Ueland (Ray); grandsons, Dan Lee and Mike Lee (Joanne) and granddaughter Brittani Ryan and great granddaughters, Parker and Libby Lee and cousin John Burker of Washington State.
Annarose was preceded in death my Michael Popovich, Chuck Pennock, her father Otto, and step father Simon and mother Rose.
The family would like to thank the employees of The Springs for the wonderful care she received during her stay and also the employees of Copper Ridge Rehabilitation Center.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Parish Vigil will be recited at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at on Tuesday at 10:00 am in St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow in the mausoleum at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. A reception will follow.
Memorial donations may be given to Our Lady of the Rockies at Harrison Avenue or an organization of the donor's choice.
