Anna Vanessa Vukovich passed away on August 21, 2022. She was born in Butte on July 10, 1970. Friends and family may call on Friday, August 26, at 7 p.m. for her Memorial Service and her Funeral on Saturday, August 27 at 10 a.m. Both will be at the Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church in Butte, followed by a luncheon.

Anna is the first born daughter of Cindy Sanderson Garcia and Fr. Al Vukovich. Our beloved will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. We know she is at peace with Jesus. Memory Eternal!

Anna was raised in Huntington, West Virginia and later in Butte, Montana with her sister Marisa Camp. Marisa was her very best and closest friend. At Butte High School Anna was a cheerleader and a gymnast. After High School she lived in several states including Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, Texas and Alaska. She loved to travel and have adventures.

If you ask someone for a word to describe Anna it would be "PERSONALITY". She would come into a room and light it up, so full of enthusiasm, energy and fun.   She was the life of a party! Fun was her game!

Here is a sample of Anna's lifelong antics: As a teenager she was so embarrassed by her single Mom who changed her own oil and snow tires on her car. One time Mom was on her knees at the street changing tires when Anna came out with a big, bold sign and taped it on Mom's back, it read, "I do not know Anna Vukovich!"

From a young age she was very perceptive about people, befriending the shy or lonely. She really noticed people, cared about them and had a great heart. Having people she cared for around her was what she cared about most. Her children have said that she was supportive, nurturing and always her true authentic self.   They appreciated her immaculate home and said she wanted to be a "Trophy Wife and Mother". Anna loved shopping, traveling, attending concerts and seeing the Broncos.

Anna was a   "PK",   Priest's Kid. During childhood, as the daughter of Orthodox Priest Fr. Al Vukovich, she enjoyed the special attention she received from the church.

Anna loved the Lord and her Orthodox Church.   In Butte she served the Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church and the Serbian Mother's Club.   This was the major part of her life.

After returning to Montana, Anna reconnected with a high school boy friend, Brian D. Bouley. She said he became the love of her life.

Patriotism was important to Anna and she took her privilege to vote very seriously.   She touted Women's Rights and support for single Mom's especially.

One of the brightest lights in her life was her little grandson Mason. She was never happier than when she could babysit and spend time with him. He was her only grandchild in Butte.

Anna will be greatly missed by: her children Bailey Chapin Hay (Kayte), Alexandria Hanson, Milo Vukovich, Macy Vukovich; her grandsons Joshua Hanson and Mason Samples; and her beloved miniature pinchers, Pierce and Hudson

Anna's mother, Cindy, had the privilege and blessing of raising Anna alone from age eight on. There was never a dull moment living with and caring for her beloved whirlwind daughter.

Anna was preceded in death by: her beloved Grandparents, Audrey and Ed Gelling,   Mel Sanderson, Sophie (Cokey) and Al Vukovich, Love Brian Bouley, Cousin Christa Sanderson and Puppy.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday at 10:00 am in Holy Trinity Orthodox Church.  A further celebration of Anna's life will be held following services.
