Allison Kesey Egan, 40, of Billings, Montana, passed away August 12, 2026.

Allison was born on July 16th, 1986, in Butte, Montana, to William and Laurel Egan. A proud Butte native, she attended local schools and graduated from Butte High School in 2005. Allison then went on to attend Montana State University-Billings and Abilene Texas Christian University on soccer scholarships.

Allison was a star athlete. In high school she earned all-conference honors for soccer as a junior and senior and all-state honors as a senior.  In her junior season she was named the team's best defensive player, and as a senior she won the team's best offensive player award. There truly wasn't a position on the soccer field that she didn't excel at. Sports were Allison's refuge and where she made most of her lifelong friends and connections. She also went on to coach the Butte High Girls Soccer Team after graduation in order to give back to the Butte sports community that meant so much to her.

After her time playing soccer in college, she returned to Billings and opened The Dog Spot, a dog daycare.  She owned and operated the Dog Spot for several years and by extension became involved in her local community's effort to support pet adoption. Allison was a huge supporter of Rez Dog Rescue in Billings, MT and supported many other non-profits that re-homed pets.

Allison will be remembered as someone who made friends wherever she went. It wasn't because she sought people out, but because she had a warm, approachable energy that naturally drew others to her. At The Dog Spot, that warmth quickly turned strangers into loyal customers. It was easy to see how much Allison loved and cared for every dog, treating each one as if they were her own.

It would be impossible to tell Allison's story without mentioning her beloved dog, Tuscany. The two of them went everywhere together and shared a bond that was truly special. They took care of one another and brought each other so much love and companionship throughout their time together. Their connection was undeniable, and we find comfort in knowing that they are together again, reunited and happy to be by each other's side.

Allison is survived by her parents, Bill and Laurel (Erickson) Egan; her sister, Haley Egan; her brother-in-law, Ryan Davis; her nephew, Benny. Her sister-in-law April Egan, and nephews Weston and Will. Also remembered with love are Allison's extended family, Marjorie Durkin, and Leslie and Bob Whalen.

Allison's friends were as close to her as family, and she worked hard to maintain those friendships throughout her life. Some special friends to mention were Jon Ehresman, Katie Halloran, Micha Johnson, Kari and Steve Longshore, Jason Decker and countless others whose lives she touched.

He was preceded in death by her brother, William Ryan Egan, grandparents, William and Catherine Egan, and Leonard and Mona Erickson.

Funeral services will be held at St. Patrick's church at 11 am on Wednesday, August 26th. A reception will follow.
